What better to know if the students understand the lesson? Let them show it! To reinforce my lesson on “This is…”, I had my students bring any object and in front of the class, the individually showed what they have brought and said a sentence or two about it. Since it’s a Show and Tell type, my students started by telling “This is a book”, “This is a pencil”, “This is a watch”, etc. In this way, there is repetition of the lesson, therefore, helping them remember the concept. Plus, the students like the activity and they wanted to do it again and again.
